"We had the pleasure of recently staying in the historic Blue Heron Suite. The Amish Log furniture adds to the cozy atmosphere and the morning view over the lake is absolutely breath-taking! We spent the afternoon hiking the nearby trail system and I'm looking forward to returning during the summer for kayaking the lake. If you're looking for a charming nature lover's paradise, this is for you." ~Susan G. (Cadillac, MI)
"Thanks, Christine! We enjoyed our stay!" ~John W., bow hunter (Grand Rapids, MI)
"It was so wonderful meeting you! Thank you for welcoming us. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back! And, thank you again for the birthday donuts! Meant more to me than I can express." ~Jessica K. (Chicago, IL)
"I stayed in the Eagle’s Nest and it was the perfect spot for me and three of my friends. There was plenty of room in the cabin and it was super cozy with incredible views of Diamond Lake. Each morning I would wake up to the sunrise and enjoy my coffee out on the deck, taking in the tranquil sounds of the birds chirping around me. The calm vibe helped me unwind and completely relax- something I have a hard time doing. We also did some exploring at the nearby North Country Trail that was within 5 minutes of the cabin. It was a beautiful fall day and the colors were stunning. The hostess, Christine was super friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a unique spot to get away and really unplug and decompress, check out The Blue Heron Retreat. You’ll be so happy you did!" ~Kami K. (Holland, MI)
